As Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) specialists, we quickly found that removing explosive threats is not enough to provide the conditions that will support an enduring peace. And without peace-building after protracted conflict, there is a real risk that conflict will return and mines will be laid again. The people who have survived years of conflict must be given an alternative way to live. They must see the advantages of living together in a peaceful society that provides opportunities for themselves and their dependents. Sarvatra seeks to work with others to help achieve an enduring peace anywhere in the world.
In most cases, our objectives will be to support a peace-building effort by carrying out the following activities:
- To carry out post conflict Non-Technical survey.
- To carry out Technical Survey of areas identified as hazardous.
- Working to International standards for safety, to search for, locate and destroy Mines and UXO.
- Mechanize demining by using Sarvatra patented demining Machine ARJUN
- To impart Mine Risk Education.
